Strength Can Be Invisible

I’ve loved many addicts,

before and after I became one.

They taught me more than any sober person

ever could.

Truth, deceit, the ability to hide behind any

delusion.

That we’re all haunted by demons that we’ll

run from ’til we’re ready to face them.

That strength can be invisible.
